    Verdict

Rovaniemi was the only one backed against the odds-on Johan here in August and kept on well for second. The winner has franked the form since so he is respected from the plum draw. Al Rufaa is a €230,000 son of Kingman but Richard Hannon’s newcomers Almuerzo Loco and Ayr Harbour are poorly drawn. Chepstow second General Joe probably needs more while Transition was very green here in August and, like The Queen’s Fruition, may need more time. AMAAN carries a penalty but was very professional when beating the more-experienced Black Comedy at Leicester. That race was packed with expensively-purchased youngsters from powerful yards so the form is probably above average.
