Verdict

A number of these have shown promise without actually suggesting a win is imminent. Alaskan Star should come on for a satisfactory debut and Magic Applause is respected but was beaten 8l on second start at Catterick, admittedly by an interesting sort. He's just preferred of those to have run but a chance is taken on debut with ROYAL LIBERTY, a son of Acclamation from a yard with a good handle on juvenile form. Hopefully the market will reflect confidence in his chance first time up. The other newcomers warrant a market check whilst both Royal Crown and Princess Lyla showed promise first time before disappointing next time around. The former should definitely not be discarded yet as his Beverley debut signposted a decent level of ability.
