        Verdict

        Phoenix Glow won a Class 6 handicap over 6f at Chelmsford then couldn't handle the step-up to Class 5 company at Kempton. STAR OF COTAI made most until headed inside the final furlong over this track and trip a week ago and will take some catching as Cloud Queen showed only moderate form in novice company last season though she's one to note in the market on her handicap debut. Gone landed a Yarmouth nursery on good to soft ground, with Equiami well beaten, but was then beaten a long way on heavy going at Leicester in October.
