        Verdict

        VALE OF PARIS followed a maiden win at Bath with last week's handicap victory at Wolverhampton. Rae Guest's progressive filly is worth sticking with in this. Lucky Clover has been thereabouts off higher marks since scoring at Chepstow in May without being quite good enough and Whipphound went close at over 6f at Nottingham last time though last year's win over today's trip came in soft ground. Bubbly Bailey is now back on the same mark as when winning at Kempton in October and could go well.
