    Verdict

BOSCAGE may be able to make a winning start and is put forwards ahead of Pyrus Time and Onemix. He lacks the racecourse experience of his two rivals but he is the selected runner from a three strong Mark Johnston entry and is sure to have been well prepared. He looks the part on paper and represents a yard in fine form with a good record at the track. Pyrus Time has been progressing with experience and has gone close the last twice over this course and distance; he should be thereabouts again. Onemix is only his trainer's third runner of the year and neither has hit the target; results from recent years suggest that the yard doesn't really get in to full swing until the following month and she's opposable despite running a nice race on debut behind a stablemate of the selection, Boscage.
