In depth

Verdict

Lowestoft Playboy gets the confident vote here with Captain Margaret and Smart Tiger the main dangers. The selection ran really well at Wolverhampton on Monday when a good second behind Mister Benji. He was a little unlucky that day and he could gain his compensation here. Captain Margaret was also a little unlucky when a good second behind Taxman here last time but she likes to come from behind to win her races and she will need things to drop just right if she is to get her head in front. She is also better over slightly further so for that reason we will watch her today. Smart Tiger was disappointing on Monday but that was his first run for four months and he may have needed that pipe opener. Madhavi may prove best of the remainder but for the winner we will stick with Lowestoft Playboy.
