Gower Song, Mussoorie and Market Forces are the three to consider here, with Gower Song looking the best treated at the weights. Market Forces followed up a couple of successes, including a good win at York with a defeat when made favourite at Nottingham last time. He found the climb up the handicap too much and this Listed contest may prove similar. John Gosden saddles Missourie, who has been keeping good company this season, but is yet to score this year. The grey filly has run some sound races in defeat though and this contest may not be as competitive so a better show is expected. Gower Song has had his training problems presumably as has only been out once this season, running well to be placed in a good handicap. Last year he ran a blinder to be second in the Group Two Princess Royal Stakes at Ascot and a chance is taken that he can reproduce that effort and claim this contest. Gower Song can prove good enough here.
