In depth

Verdict

Love and Glory, Reclamation and Inchwood are the three to focus on here, with Reclamation, beaten by a highly regarded type last time, taken to resume winning ways. Love and Glory won here on Turf two outings ago, and ran well to be beaten just over three lengths in a decent Sandown handicap last time. He looks sure to run his race, though his two all-weather efforts last season were disappointing. Inchwood lost her maiden tag at Newmarket and then chased home Warringah, earlier a beaten odds on favourite at Thirsk, at Newbury. Raised six pounds for that run she is on a lofty mark and may find the weight concession all round a little difficult-she seems to prefer a yielding surface and may find the all-weather track here a bit quick. Reclamation left behind her two-year-old form when scoring on her re-appearance at Wolverhampton, and then stayed on well to be second behind the well backed Tomintoul Flyer last time. She is stepped up markedly in trip here, but her trainer is a master in this respect, and the dam is a half sister to a winning middle distance performer. Reclamation can make it two for the season.
