A low key start to proceedings which can see Readily open her account. This represents a drop in grade for the daughter of Captain Rio who has been performing creditably in decent maidens and she can make the most of the opportunity. Arguably her best performance came at Windsor on debut when she finished just 3 lengths behind Beat Seven but a repeat of her efforts which saw her finish in midfield in races won by some fair sorts may suffice. Mick Channon has a decent strike rate in claimers and Benedetti must be respected as his latest effort was an improvement on his debut. Time For Old Time ran well enough in a seller on debut to suggest that she can win races but Dazzling Dust looks up against it on all known form. It's a concern that Readily hasn't really gone on from her debut but she may still be good enough to win this.
