      Verdict

      Stake Acclaim beat FIRENZE ROSA (NAP) at Windsor early last month but the latter took her revenge back at the latter track on their latest meeting. John Bridger’s filly won with a bit in hand on that occasion and will handle any cut in the ground. Maiden winner Marlay Park should find this easier than his latest task at Ascot and could figure but both Peerless and Coronation Cottage would prefer a faster surface. Passional boasts a good strike rate on the all-weather having won four times and is unexposed on this surface.
