Enola is out of a mare who has produced winners with her first two foals though her yard has yet to strike form. Desert Explorer hasn't been beaten far in any of his three starts, the last two on fast ground, while Orin Swift belied his 150/1 SP with an improved effort at Windsor and wouldn't need much more. Sonnetist looked badly in need of experience over a mile at Chepstow and takes a big step-up in trip so this should go to MAKKADANGDANG. Andrew Balding's charge had shown some potential last season and though unable to hold off the long odds-on Alnasl over 1m2f at Brighton stayed on well enough to suggest the step-up in trip will bring about the required improvement.
