        Verdict

        Baddilini and Hoofalong both went close in a higher grade last time. Neither, however, have been done any favours by the draw. Fleckerl steps up a grade, drops in trip and carries a penalty after winning here last week. Iseemist did well last year, winning at Epsom and Goodwood, but hasn't fared as well on the all-weather in the past and reappears on a career-high mark. PATRICK won his maiden here last year and looks an early-season type. He also has more scope for improvement than most of these so is fancied to make a winning return after a lay-off. Apache Storm and Polytrack specialist Varsovian make most appeal of the others.
