      Verdict

      Nonios, whose last victory was at Chelmsford in March, is still on a higher mark but C NOTE is just 2lb higher than when landing a Newmarket handicap in November and wasn't beaten far in slightly better company here last time. Isomer was well beaten on his only start over this trip but he's been staying on over a mile in recent races. Fayez was narrowly beaten from this mark at Newcastle though that was a lower-grade handicap while Central City got up in the final strides in a Class 5 over 1m3f at Kempton and takes a step-up in class from 3lb higher.
