Sir Sandrovitch has been on the premises on numerous occasions this winter and he can gain a deserved success in the opener, Hadath and Shirley Oaks could provide most danger. Richard Fahey's horses are in fine form at the moment and this ten-year-old can add to his recent tally. His most recent outing was at Wolverhampton last week when a staying on third over the five furlong trip behind Lady Hopeful. A repeat of that effort could be good enough here. Hadath disappointed at Southwell last time but seems to prefer it round here as he proved when beating Kallista's Pride in December. He should be capable of reaching the frame. Shirley Oaks is steadily returning to her best and is another to consider for each-way purposes. The pick of the others could be Cloann, but Sir Sandrovitch is well treated by the conditions of this race and he gets our vote
