This looks more competitive than usual. Alimy battled to a surprise victory at Naas while Barnes Des Mottes won comfortably on the same track. Both races didn't look as strong as this and the winners have penalties. BLACKHILLSOFDAKOTA finished runner-up to Dewcup at Thurles and the son of Galileo is likely to improve markedly so gets the nod though Farceur Du Large was fancied for that race but withdrawn due to the quick ground. The latter is one to keep an eye on as is Patrick Mullins' mount Slip Road, a well-supported points winner at Oldtown last month. Kingram Lady was beaten a long way on her debut on this track while Ebadali did better when faced with heavy ground here a couple of weeks ago.
