Homesman lacked the pace to get to the leaders over 1m2f at Navan so should be more effective over this trip. BUFFALO BLUES was staying on strongly over that trip behind San Remo at Dundalk and the winner can give the form a boost earlier in the day. Mauricio was well beaten into second at Dundalk when Modern Approach was behind though both were making their debuts and will have come on for the experience. Steel Prince is a very interesting entry on his belated debut as he cost a whopping 500,000gns as a yearling being a half-brother to a Grade 1 winner in Canada and the Group 3 winner Sugar Boy.
