Isabel's Gold ran her best race for some time when encountering heavy ground at Tramore though was beaten 15 lengths but EAGLE ROQUE (NAP) was a bit unlucky when failing to justify strong support at Naas. Paul Nolan's charge finished around 2 lengths behind today's rival All About Alfie but his saddle slipped in the straight and his rider was unable to correct him when he hung left. The four-year-old Frere Fontaine led at the last and was caught close home over 2m6f at Thurles so this trip should prove ideal while Whoyakodding ran well over the track and trip last time in a race that has worked out well.
