MARYIVER loves heavy ground and her front-running tactics soon had her rivals strung out at Tramore last time. She tired in the closing stages over that 2m5f but hasn't been overfaced by the assessor with a mark of 114 on her handicap debut. Second Glance has struggled from his new mark after scoring over the minimum at Cork in November and isn't certain to get the trip. That won't be a problem for Darling Harbour, a winner over 2m6f at Down Royal in November, though he looked a few pounds high in the weights on his only subsequent start at Naas earlier this month. Top weight Fen Game has done nothing in four starts over fences to suggest he would be good enough for this and Skeheenarinky's best form is over much further.
