Verdict

Joseph O'Brien won this with a three-year-old last season and Vanguard Star has been showing good pace on Turf since scoring at Dundalk in February. First Gentleman hasn't been beaten far in strong maidens at the Curragh and Cork, both on testing ground, while DREAM TODAY has been staying on over slightly shorter and has dropped to a winnable mark having been dropped a pound since placed behind the in-form Warrior Brave at Fairyhouse. Furnace Creek ran well behind that winner at Listowel and holds Secret Road on collateral form.
