Verdict

Bumper winner The Grey Express ran her best race to date over timber when sent over this trip at Roscommon last August and ran well at Wexford earlier this month when fourth behind Amazon Warrior. Runner-up in the latter event on his debut over timber was MILANO BAY, who had shown ability in bumpers previously and should be good enough to land this. Winning point-to-pointer Ennisnag has produced strong performances at Gowran and Wexford recently and should prove a threat to all while another winner between the flags, Glibin, finally got off the mark under Rules when landing a Downpatrick bumper and should make a fair hurdler. The progressive Rheinland and dual winning point-to-pointer Noosa are others to consider in an open maiden.
