He ran very well over fences last time and his earlier runs in tough handicaps point to his chances. Polar Present has won a bumper on this track and scored over timber at Cork. He ran well over three miles last time and could find this on the short side. Trade Marked was carrying a feather weight when landing a Clonmel handicap and when a close second there in October and probably needs faster ground than this, a remark that also applies to Usurp.
