In depth

Verdict

West Is Best won over this trip at Clonmel in March then found 2m3f too short at Downpatrick. Carnet De Stage has never won a race and his best form has been over shorter. GOULANE JESSIE (NAP) reverted to hurdling to score at Cork but would have a chance second to none on his close second over fences at Punchestown in January. Dual hurdles winner Beeper's Ruby has only had two starts over fences but only weakened from the last over a bit further than this at Downpatrick so has to be respected. Jordan Gainford's claim puts the lightly-raced Mister Bells in with a shout.
