Whatever Jacksays has been going well but is still a maiden after 15 career starts and is now on his highest ever mark. De Dodger is also a maiden over jumps but would probably have put that right but for falling at the last over fences at Clonmel last time. Gentle Alice has improved over fences and can race from a 26lb lower mark over hurdles so must be on the short-list though this can go to Lookoutnow, the winner of two novice handicaps before finishing a close third to Clashnabrook at Fairyhouse only to be disqualified for veering right at the third last. Whiskey Hall ran poorly here last time but had earlier produced a cracking effort which would put him in the frame for this.
