In depth

Verdict

An interesting bumper to end the day. With Aubrey McMahon on board Eurotiep, who rode him on his debut but may be better suited by further, Patrick Mullins is free to ride Vintage Prosseco for Gavin Cromwell and his mount will have come on a bundle for his run behind the long odds-on Sir Gerhard at Down Royal. The latter's yard is represented by CALAGOGO, who couldn't get close to Mind Your Money when Henry De Bromhead's charge finished first past at Fairyhouse but was disqualified for interference. The testing conditions will suit the selection and his stable can do little wrong. Mahlers Dollar need further and Petite Dame was well beaten into third at Galway.
