        Verdict

        Giorgio Vasari looked a certain future winner when beaten narrowly at Fairyhouse and started a short price over this track and trip but was very disappointing, weakening quickly after being up with the pace. Alex D also made a bright start at Naas and met decent rivals at the Curragh where he helped set the pace for a long way. REPUTE stayed on nicely over an extended 5f at Navan and can improve enough to take this though Puerto De Vega, who was well supported after a very promising debut at the Curragh, ran no sort of race and finished last of the five runners. Just Awesome is a half-brother to top-class sprinter Sole Power while Trusted Ally is a half-brother to two middle-distance winners.
