LAVINIAD gained her only success to date over this trip on soft ground at Cork for which she went up 7lb. She ended the campaign with a very good run at Leopardstown and her trainer should have her ready for this. Salariaq made a belated racecourse debut in August and landed a Gowran maiden on fast going the following month. She'll make progress this season and is an obvious threat. Witty Repartee showed real potential in her two runs last term and though well beaten on her reappearance on heavy going at the Curragh she ran better than her form figure suggests and has to be respected. Lake George has five career victories to his credit - including on this track - and he'll be better for his run at Cork but Private Party's best form has been at Dundalk.
