Although Slipper Orchid is likely to make a bold bid for a hat-trick, it's the younger brigade who look to have the call. Mick Halford's filly is unlikely to go down without a fight but the concession of 18lb to PEARL OF AFRICA may prove beyond her. Eddie Lynam's progressive filly returned to action in the spring with two fine runs at Dundalk and with further improvement likely she looks the one to beat. Majestic Queen was beaten a short-head at Dundalk in November having won their earlier though the winner of the latter race hasn't franked the form so the other youngster in the line-up, Angela's Dream, may have more of a chance as she looked unlucky at Naas last time.
