      Verdict

      Samurai Cracker won over 2m3f at Down Royal before a very good second at Fairyhouse then reverted to hurdles at the former track where he ran poorly. Star Max is 1-17 over fences and though he's generally run well he finished eight lengths behind GIN ON LIME when the latter scored over 2m4f at Wexford. He's slightly better off at the weights but not enough to reverse the form. The remaining pair will probably require mishaps to get involved.
