The former Ballydoyle inmate Acapulco hasn't had much racing for his age and has really struck form recently, though he was an unlikely winner over hurdles at Punchestown when a rival stopped to a walk on the run-in when looking home and hosed. He's an interesting runner on his chasing debut while Drawn N Drank ran his best race to date over fences over this track and trip last time though that was his eleventh start and he's been inconsistent. LUDO ET EMERGO would have taken a hand in the finish of that latter race but for unseating his rider at the last. That was only his eighth career start and he has enough scope to gain compensation. Dual winning hurdler Federici was making his chasing bow in that event and ran well enough to suggest he'll go well here while The Crafty Butcher did well over hurdles, defying a pedigree that is more in keeping with Flat racing.
