Verdict

DUCK EGG BLUE, a winner over 7f at Down Royal, returned to form when just failing to catch Olympic Legend over this trip at Naas and should go well again despite a 4lb rise. Sea Haar, who was only just behind in that latter race, had every chance but looks held as does fourth-placed Future Frontier while Latchet ran poorly in a maiden at the same fixture. Bouquet Garni was beaten a short-head by Dinky Inty in a claimer that day and the winner has won subsequently though Edward O'Grady's charge was behind the selection at Sligo.
