UK-based apprentice Oisin Orr has a few rides today and Ti Amo, who has shown ability in his three starts, could prove well handicapped on a mark of 70. Hatton Cross is generally thereabouts at this sort of level and will enjoy the conditions so he can get involved under the excellent Gary Halpin while Robbie Downey has a chance on the same stable's Avalanche, though his mount wouldn't want any more rain. Count Of Carabass and WILLIAM ASHFORD fought out the finish over slightly shorter here earlier in the week with the former just prevailing. There's very little between them again though the runner-up may just have the edge this time and gets the vote. Third-placed Apache Gold looks held but Annie Irish scored in soft ground at Gowran before finding Dundalk's Polytrack too quick.
