Verdict

Active Force went for 165,000 euros after winning at Courtown in April though only two of the nine runners completed the course. Whisperinthebreeze made an impressive debut at Tinahely in October and has a cracking pedigree for bumpers and hurdles and he could provide the main threat to VOIX DES TIEP. Willie Mullins' charge came here for a bumper in February but couldn't quite get to Someday, who hasn't been doing badly over hurdles, and can go one better. Derek O'Connor's presence on Whatchamacallit, who is out of a winning bumper, suggests he's the more forward of Joseph O'Brien's pair but Gordon Elliott's Nearly Man has a chaser's pedigree and may find a few of these too quick. Young Wolf's dam has produced bumper winners with her first two foals so he's one to note in the market.
