These are always tricky races to evaluate and Willie Mullins complicates proceedings with four entries. Isleofhopendreams could prove the best of them as he was only beaten a head in the race a year ago though he'd arrived in winning form and is now 18lb higher. Mon Lino went to Navan on a hat-trick and ran another fine race though couldn't cope with shock winner RED DEVIL LADS, who was always travelling well and survived a last-flight error, and runner-up Glenloe. The placed horses are tough and consistent but if the winner can run up to that form again he can complete a double. Mount Hanover is thrown in at the deep end for his handicap debut but ploughed through the Fairyhouse mud for his maiden victory and could be well in. Sea Light has been chasing but was fancied for this a year ago and could go well if near his best. Oscar Sam is the only course and distance winner in the line-up and wasn't beaten far when third in this a year ago so is another to consider despite poor recent form.
