Verdict

Kilcruit was at unbackable odds when making his debut over timber at Cork but was firmly put in his place by LARGY DEBUT, who made all and galloped on strongly. He can prove that was no fluke by completing a double though Mighty Potter and Three Stripe Life give Gordon Elliott a strong hand. The former ran an excellent race when a close third in the Grade 1 Royal Bond, while the latter, a very smart bumper, had no problems landing the odds in a Fairyhouse maiden on his debut over timber. The mare Grangee looks best of Willie Mullins' trio having followed April's Grade 3 bumper success with a convincing hurdling bow at Fairyhouse though Farout wasn't beaten far in the Royal Bond.
