Verdict

Spider Web is the only one of these to have won over both the course and the distance and also won the Munster Handicap at Limerick last October. He's one of seven owned by J P McManus, who also has two reserves, and Barry Geraghty has chosen Fitzhenry, a very good second to Chris's Dream in the Troytown at Navan last month. Any Second Now is another of the leading owner's entries and the Kim Muir winner will be ready for this challenge under top weight while Willie Mullins has no less than eight runners. Jockey bookings suggest Cabaret Queen could be the pick as she looked in great form when easily beating Spider Web at Limerick before failing to fire at Newbury. No Comment is capable of a big run for Philip Hobbs but POKER PARTY (NAP) won the ultra-competitive Kerry National at Listowel in September and has been saved for this. Rachael Blackmore rides rather than the very progressive Plan Of Attack and her decision can be justified.
