Willie Mullins won this last year but neither Dogora nor Abbey Lane make much appeal this time around. Foxrock is certain to attract support after an unfortunate defeat on his handicap bow over fences at Punchestown where he carried his big weight with distinction after meeting problems in-running. A dual Grade 2 winner, he could have done without the weights rising at the overnight stage but should still run a big race and can find a place on the podium. Colbert Station won this in 2012 but hasn't scored over fences subsequently but Grand Jesture arrives in top form having overcome mistakes to win a tough handicap at Punchestown. The one to be on looks to be A P McCoy's mount GROODY HILL (NAP). The champion was on board when Christy Roche's charge was a close third at the meeting a year ago and the combination look to have an outstanding chance of landing this big prize. The lightly-raced Back Off Mate can prove best of the lightweights in what should be a gruelling contest.
