Ted Veale, last year's County Hurdle winner, hasn't raced over hurdles for some time but has been in excellent form over fences and on the Flat so it won't be a problem reverting to timber. However, his stablemate BUSTED TYCOON will have been primed for this by Tony Martin and though absent since completing a six-timer on the Flat and over hurdles last summer he is handed the vote to make a successful reappearance. Ned Buntline has gone even longer without a run over the smaller obstacles as he's been racing over fences and doing extremely well with a close second in the Grand Annual at Cheltenham in March the highlight. Rock The World is a nice prospect as he showed when easily landing a novice hurdle at Punchestown though this is a very tough race to be making a handicap debut. The veteran Fosters Cross showed he wasn't finished just yet by beating a strong field at Thurles on Sunday while Pivot Bridge can prove best of the lightweights.
