Ballycasey is certain to be fancied for this after finishing runner-up in a point-to-point at Loughanmore in April though the form of that race hasn't really worked out. Our Vinnie made a very promising debut at Punchestown in October before coming up against a couple of potentially useful performers there a month later and must be considered while Coolking looks to have more to come but this could go to a newcomer with EXPANDING UNIVERSE fitting the bill. Dermot Weld's son of Galileo should have enough pace and stamina for this as he's closely related to a winning miler and a successful hurdler. Oakamoor is another newcomer to keep an eye on in the market.
