Verdict

Most of these are in the Triumph Hurdle with LOSSIEMOUTH currently favourite. A winner at Auteuil in April, she was very impressive in a Grade 3 at Fairyhouse on her debut for Willie Mullins, with Risk Belle beaten 12 lengths, and will take all the beating. Her stable companion Gala Marceau scored on the Flat in France last November and is unbeaten in two starts over timber, the latest a Listed contest at Auteuil in April. Cougar landed a Curragh maiden by seven lengths for Aidan O'Brien before a winning debut over timber at Gowran. Now with Padraig Roche, he followed up with a convincing success at Down Royal though meets better rivals here. Mctigue, rated 96 on the Flat, was sent to Sedgefield for a winning debut over hurdles then to Auteuil to land a Grade 2 on heavy ground but didn't do as well on a return visit to France in a Grade 1. War Correspondent made a winning hurdles debut at Punchestown and led at the last in a Cheltenham Grade 2 before outpaced on the run-in. Nusret, a smart performer on the Flat, sauntered home on his hurdling debut at Punchestown.
