Verdict

Autumn Evening made a big impression on testing going at Cork, always travelling nicely and easily asserting from the last. He looks a smart prospect. Busselton scored at Auteuil in heavy ground in May and makes his debut for Joseph O'Brien. Stable companion Druid's Altar made a convincing hurdles debut at Punchestown but was put in his place by ZANAHIYR when tackling Grade 3 company at Fairyhouse though that didn't look his form. The winner looked the best juvenile to be seen in Ireland this season and should confirm form with runner-up Saint Sam, though the latter will be 7lb better off and is expected to get much closer. His stablemate Ha D'or has a superb pedigree for jumping and easily won a bumper in the French Provinces in July and the runner-up made a successful debut over hurdles so the form looks strong.
