Verdict

Shore Shanty won at Ludlow last month and a conditional’s allowance negates today’s penalty. But it was good ground on that occasion and Electric Annie also encounters different conditions underfoot having placed in bumpers. The latter is fitted with a tongue-tie along with ROSE OF ARCADIA, who has undergone wind surgery since returning a beaten favourite at Ffos Las on her hurdling bow. She gets another chance in this while dual bumper winner Fontaine Collonges made her hurdling debut in Grade 2 company and will find this easier and better is also expected from Merry Berry dropping back down in trip.
