Verdict

Ultima Thule came up against a very smart opponent in Easywork at Down Royal and though well beaten finished a long way clear of the remainder. Risk Factor also ran into what looked a decent rival in Russian Diamond at Galway and looks certain to improve while Good Time Jonny was only headed close home by the odds-on Fantasia D'Alene at Punchestown. For Talks Sake easily won a point at Loughrea in October while RAMILLIES went for £215,000 at the sales after an impressive victory at Bishops Court in March and has joined Willie Mullins. Decimation and Hamundarson, both expensive purchases, are interesting newcomers in a stronger than usual finale.
