Verdict

Ball D'arc, a Grade 2 winner over hurdles, has done well over fences and runs here rather than the previous race where he may have found Grade 1 company beyond him. Dysios won this last year and Forty Foot Tom in 2014. The former hasn't had much racing subsequently and looks as though he's been primed for another crack. Powersbomb unseated his rider on his chasing debut but made amends at Clonmel where he landed a beginners' event. JARRY D'HONNEUR looked a very smart prospect at the beginning of last year but had a long absence before returning at Fairyhouse earlier this month. That should have blown the cobwebs away and he can start making up for lost time. Riviera Sun has shown his liking for very testing conditions in his last two starts and if it comes up heavy he would be in the shake-up.
