Castello Sforza, a close fourth in the championship bumper at Cheltenham, started a short-priced favourite on his hurdling debut at Fairyhouse and though beaten looked certain to come on for the experience. JOEY SASA, a dual bumper winner, has run into a couple of very smart recruits over timber and can make it third-time lucky though Felix Mendelssohn is a very interesting newcomer. He started off with Aidan O'Brien before transferring to Dave Simcock in the UK and though he didn't win with the latter handler he looks the type to do well over hurdles. Barra won four bumpers in France and made a very encouraging start over hurdles when chasing home the long odds-on Invitation Only at Gowran so she can get into the shake-up with her allowances.
