Verdict
This has produced small fields in its recent history with Aidan O'Brien fielding short-priced beaten favourites in the last three renewals. He had half of the original 14 entries and relies this time on Gleneagles. A full brother to Marvellous, he finished over 4l behind Convergance when they met here in June but the winner had already run twice and though obviously useful he may not be up to confirming the form. TOMBELAINE is the form pick on his defeat of Highland Reel here last month. The runner-up has since gone on to score by 12l and the third has also won so Dermot Weld's colt is taken to remain unbeaten.
