Verdict

Could Be King had been highly tried before beating what looked a strong field of maidens at Limerick and there should be more to come. NO NEEDS NEVER, a close fourth in a major sales race at Doncaster, went to Dundalk for a Listed contest and beat Old Glory with something in hand. The runner-up was having only his second race and started odds-on after his debut success at Naas but had no answer when the winner quickened past. Guaranteed has run in two Group 2's since landing a Curragh maiden so should find this more to his liking.
