Verdict
The two three-year-olds look the ones to concentrate on here. BATTLE OF SARATOGA had been racing over 1m2f until dropping back to a mile and making all for a comfortable success on soft ground at Limerick and now he's got his head in front looks one to follow. Lord Jim has followed a similar pattern and looked a progressive type when scoring at Bellewstown and if further rain arrives and the ground becomes testing he'll take some beating. Footprint has a very poor strike-rate for such a useful performer and has only won once on turf. He faces a stiff task under the conditions of the race while Daring Man has a shocking record having failed to score in 30 starts on Turf and just once on Polytrack. Fairy Wing and He's Got Rhythm appear better on Polytrack these days.
