UNANIMOUS can't get his head in front but won't get a better opportunity despite fading close home when just caught by Encrypted Message over 7f at Fairyhouse on Sunday. Joseph O'Brien may hold on to him for a bit longer this time and he's expected to hang on though Dermot Weld will know how he stands as he trained the winner at Fairyhouse and is represented by Leyland here. He's definitely been a disappointment and didn't appear to enjoy the soft ground at Roscommon after a better run on fast going at Ballinrobe. Wild China showed some improvement at Clonmel but needs further so Cape Violet could be the one for the minor berth after a reasonable debut at Down Royal.
