In depth

Verdict

All seven entries won last time and Degraves is unpenalised for landing a Group 3 over 1m1f in October and his pedigree suggests he'll be at home over this trip. His two stable companions, GALILEO CHROME and Hy Brasil, have both won maidens. The latter won over 1m5f at Navan though it's the former who looks the one to beat as he had Serpentine back in fifth when scoring at the Curragh. Numen and Delphi represent Ballydoyle, the former easily landing a 1m2f maiden here and the latter carrying a big weight in handicap over that trip at Navan. Aunt Bee held on from Thunder Kiss over 1m2f at the Curragh and the runner-up went one better at Killarney on Monday, though Jessica Harrington's filly is held on collateral form by Zenya who was an impressive maiden winner at Roscommon - the latter's yard having won this twice in the past five years.
