It's a surprise to find Wild Wind running here rather than at Royal Ascot but connections must feel a drop in grade is in order after her poor run in the Irish 1000 Guineas. Placed in the French version earlier, she was soon beaten at the Curragh and may be due a break. Another three-year-old filly, FUTURE GENERATION, is attempting this class for the first time but the way she won a very strong handicap at the Curragh suggests she could be up to the task and she earns the vote. Hen Night, a Listed winner at Cork last year, ran well on her comeback behind Rose Bonheur while Ezali made a winning racecourse debut in September so lack of a recent run shouldn't be too much of a problem. Royal Blue Star has won two handicaps in the style of a progressive filly and deserves her chance in this higher grade.
